Understanding the Counter Subversion Bill: A Transparent Process for National Security

 

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., has addressed recent media reports and public misconceptions surrounding the Counter Subversion Bill, 2024 (HB. 1652), which he sponsored. The Speaker clarified that the bill is still in its early stages, having only been introduced on July 23, 2024.
